Community Choir - Residential Visits
Our community choir had the pleasure of visiting Dr Anderson’s Care Home today to perform a festive Christmas carol service. The children represented the school brilliantly, singing with confidence and spreading plenty of Christmas cheer. Residents and staff enjoyed the performance, joining in with familiar favourites.
We were also incredibly grateful for the wonderful hospitality shown by the care home. They provided delicious buns for everyone and even catered thoughtfully for our children’s dietary requirements. A huge thank-you to the staff for being such fantastic hosts, and to the residents for singing along and making the visit so special.
Christmas Attendance Countdown – Thank You & Congratulations
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Christmas Attendance Countdown. The commitment and positive attitude shown over the last four weeks has been wonderful to see and has helped make the countdown a great success.
We are delighted to congratulate the pupils who won the Christmas Family Box, shown in the photos from the final week. To be entered into the prize draw, these pupils attended school for the full four weeks of the countdown. Even when a few of them weren’t feeling their best, they still made the effort to come to school.
A massive well done also goes to all pupils who attended for the full four weeks but did not win the prize draw this time. Please be assured that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Consistent attendance is something to be proud of, and every single one of you should feel incredibly proud of what you achieved.
Thank you once again to all pupils and families for your continued support throughout the countdown.
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
