Forest Schools

Forest Schools is an opportunity for our children to gain skills such as: 

• Co-operation 
• Teamwork 
• Communication 

Throughout the year, all year groups get an opportunity to use our forest school area for at least one half term. We have an outdoor area specifically designed for activities such as, den building, tree climbing, digging, whittling and fire lighting. 

 

This opportunity to access Forest Schools allows our children to self-regulate, build friendships and gain skills which would not be achievable within a clasroom environment.
