Welcome to Class 6LB!
In Class 6LB, children are taught by Mrs. Beresford, Mrs. Franks and Mr. Russell.
Entrance to school is via the blue doors near Class 5W. The doors are opened at 8.35am and closed at 8.45am. You will be welcomed into school by a member of staff, adults on the door are always happy to pass on any messages that you may have.
We ask children to read four times per week. They will bring a reading book and reading journal home every day. Please initial and date any home reads in the reading journal. We understand that by the time children are in Year 6, they may read independently at home rather than with an adult - we're more than happy to include these reads if you record them in the reading journal.
Our PE days are Thursday and Friday. Children should come into school wearing their PE kit (plain white T-shirt, plain black or navy shorts or tracksuit and a Long Toft School jumper.)
Your child will leave school by the same door which they entered at 3.05pm. If you are happy for your child to walk home without being collected by an adult, please inform the school office.
