At Long Toft Primary School, our remote learning take place using Seesaw. Each child is able to log in and access a range of activities which have been provided by their class teacher. These activities will be marked and commented on by their class teacher. We hope this feels as close to being at school as possible. If you find any difficulties logging in to Seesaw, you may be able to find the answers here. However, if you continue to find any difficulties please email your class teacher, who may be able to help (class email addresses are available on the remote learning page of each class.) There is also some useful information below.
In order to make remote learning accessible to everyone, the work that is placed on Seesaw is also available on request from school as a set of printed worksheets. Each child at Long Toft Primary School has also been provided with a Maths and English workbook from CGP. Teachers have also provided children details of which pages in the books will support that week's work. As we used Purple Mash very heavily in the previous lockdown, we know some of our children are more familiar with this. A small amount of activities are set as to dos each week.
Finally, every week each class have a Zoom session, in this session they can see their friends and talk to their teacher. Extra to this, teachers will contact families in order to explain if they will be providing any extra sessions and what these sessions will be.
