The Early Years Foundation Stage sets out the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to 5. It details the knowledge, skills and understanding which young children should have acquired by the end of the Reception year (F2). These are known as the Early Learning Goals (ELGs).The curriculum within the Early Years Foundation Stage is planned around four main themes:
A Unique Child |
Positive Relationships |
Enabling Environments |
